Dealing with Difficult People

This 3 hour course provides the Parent Aide with practical insights and techniques needed to manage people who display difficult behavioral characteristics. Specifically, Exploders, Sherman Tanks, Complainers, Snipers, and Clams are defined and coping techniques are explored. Insights are presented so that the Parent Aide can understand the behavior being displayed and also to cope with the behavior. The Parent Aide who can break the cycle of difficult behavior and teach mechanisms for healthy expression demonstrates real professionalism and value.
