Our mission is to support Parent Aides through professional training, community, real time advice and advocacy on the state and federal level.
Parent Aides occupy a special category of social workers. They are the paraprofessional that is the eyes and hands of the State and the Court. They spend time each month not only transporting children between custodial parents or foster parents and non custodial parents, but they advise and teach elementary parents how to achieve real success in their lives. Skills like cooking, cleaning, managing money and even: how to escape their demons.
To carry this honorable weight, requires more than just tossing parent aides into the fire. NAPA is the bridge to help parent aides enjoy a fulfilling and successful career assisting children and families.
