This 2 hour course provides the Parent Aide with the skills and techniques needed to manage conflicts constructively. Conflict is inherent in any life and especially the lives encountered by Parent Aides. Parent Aides are called upon to constantly mediate conflicts. This needs to be accomplished by employing techniques that empower rather than sapp people. Conflict often is a part of cycles that deteriorate relationships and retard interpersonal growth. Parent Aides that can break these cycles are valuable. This course provides the expertise to demonstrate that needed professionalism.
